This document shows which options are available for the sjPlot package. Version 1.7 or higher of the sjPlot package required.

## Available options settings for the sjPlot package

### APA-styled p-value and r-squared value labels

options(p_zero = TRUE) will remove leading zeros from p-values or r-squared-values (e.g. p = .023 instead of p = 0.023) from table outputs or figure or table summaries.

### Turn on/off automatic value label detection

options(autoSetValueLabels = TRUE) will activate automatic value label detection in table outputs or figures. See data init for more details.

### Turn on/off automatic variable label detection

options(autoSetVariableLabels = TRUE) will activate automatic variable label detection in table outputs or figures. See data init for more details.

### Reading SPSS data

options(read_spss = "haven") or options(read_spss = "foreign") will make the read_spss function either use the haven or foreign package to read SPSS data. See data init for more details.

### Value and variable label style

options(value_labels = "haven") or options(value_labels = "foreign") will add or read variable and value label attributes in either haven ("labels" and "label") or foreign ("value.labels" and "variable.label") style. See data init for more details. This is just a subjective option and not necessarily needed to be set. Currently, haven does not support writing labelled class vectors with variable labels to SPSS, so a data frame's vectors need to be factors with manually attached variable label attribute anyway - which is all done by the sjPlot write_spss function.
